Christ’s Hospital of Abingdon does not normally provide regular support to organisations in the town. However, the Governors will consider requests from institutions such as charities, clubs, societies or social enterprises for a one-off grant for a particular purpose. Such cases are considered on an individual basis, but the Governors do need to be assured that their support would be of substantial benefit to the people of Abingdon. It would therefore be helpful if applicants are able to supply as much information as possible so that the application can be assessed. Initial enquiries can be sent or emailed to the Clerk at the Charity’s office.
Unfortunately the Charity cannot support any applications from organisations to cover salaries, other staff costs or recruitment.
